Robin writes:

These are exciting times to be working in the asset management industry. The transition towards cost-effective, evidence-based solutions is improving outcomes for investors everywhere. Consequently, there’s an increasing number of opportunities for talented professionals to join this movement for change and to make a valuable contribution.

We don’t normally advertise job vacancies on The Evidence-Based Investor, but we’re making an exception with this one. Sparrows Capital, an award-winning boutique discretionary fund manager, and a strategic partner of TEBI in the UK, offers a market-leading model portfolio service value proposition.

Its disruptive approach to pricing has generated considerable interest from the financial adviser community at a time when regulatory focus is clearly targeted at good client outcomes.

Sparrows is looking to expand its business development team over the coming months and, in the first instance, is recruiting a Business Developer.

The successful applicant will be responsible for handling a regular flow of incoming enquiries, and for building Sparrows’ existing adviser client base. He or she will combine working from home with regular team meetings in London. Experience of pitching to advisers (both virtually and in person) is essential, and a working knowledge of investment platforms would also be useful.

Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
